Daniels Married In Double-Ring Ceremony Basket of Kitchen Needs Presented in Laundry Basket ISS PATRICIA RILEY was honored at a pre-nuptial IVi shower last night at the home of Miss Pat Huebner, 72 Bennett Avenue. Miss Riley was presented a laundry basket full of kitchen needs.

Little utensils were suspended from the rim of the basket. The prospective bride will exchange wedding vows with Charles D. Keane at 2 p. m. Sept.

9 in St. John the Evangelist Church. Approximately 20 guests attended the party. Centerpiece for the dining table was a bridal bou- Agnes Riley Bride This Morning MISS AGNES CECILIA RILEY became the bride of James B. Neville this morning in St.

Thomas Church, Little Meadows, Pa. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Riley of Warren Center, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr.

and Mrs. Bart Neville. He resided in Little Meadows. Officiating at the 10 o'clock rites was the Rev. Lawrence Weinger.

Edward Hogan played selections on the organ. Miss Helen Durella of Binghamton sang. Ferns and gladiolus trimmed the altar. The bride was attended by Miss Mary Riley, her sister, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.

GORDON WELLS DANIELS Miss Elizabeth F. Mannin MISS JANET A. CLINE and IVI Gordon Wells Daniels spoke their nuptial vows last night in Tabernacle Methodist Church. The Rev. George H.

Phillips, D. pastor, officiated. Leland Carman presented selections on the organ. Mrs. George Harris sang.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald B. Cline of 138 Matthews Street. The bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Ray W. Daniels. Mr. Cline gave his daughter in marriage at the 8 o'clock double-ring ceremony.

The altar was trimmed with white candles, -matching gladiolus and 'palms and candelabra. Miss Napcy Beall was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Norma and Nancy Daniels, sisters of the bridegroom. Best man was Paul M. Beall of Syracuse.

Guests were ushered by Donald Dickie of Norwich and Edward Diffenbach of Dushore, Pa. The bride chose a white gown of Chantilly lace with a wide oval neckline. She wore a matching juliet cap held to a fingertip illusion veil. Her bouquet was fashioned with a white orchid and bouvardia. Miss Beall was attired in a gown of white organdy over pink satin.

She wore a pink picture hat and held a basket of assorted summer flowers. The bridesmaids wore gowns of white organdy over blue and blue picture hats. They also held baskets of summer flowers. A reception for' more than 200 was held in the church parlors after the ceremony. Mr.

Daniels and his bride will make their home in 34 Tremont Avenue when they return from a one-week wedding trip. Karen Lee Greeted At Birthday Party Karen Lee, who was 4 years old Thursday, was honored at a birthday party in her home. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lee of 8 Prentice Boulevard.

A clown balloon centering the refreshment table carried out the circus motif of the party. At each place were favors in tiny baskets tied with gay ribbons. A cake with circus decorations added a festive touch. The chil-. dren received circus hats.

Young guests attending the celebratiow were Dianne Lfee, sister of the honoree, Billie Jo Welsh, Robert Welsh, Yvonne Robare, Sallyanne Purple, Mina Ginrich and Sally Ann Zeggart. Also Nancy Singer, Nancy Kipp, Patricia Aurelio, Robert Aurelio, Paul Lee and Louella Lee. FAMILY REUNIONS The Smith-Simpkins family reunion will be held Aug. 26 at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Frank Monahan of Binghamton RD 2. Miss Shirley Manning will be maid of honor for her sister. The Misses Anna Marie and Patricia Anne Manning, also sisters, will be bridesmaids. Mr. Monahan will be attended by his brother, Francis, as best man.

Two other brothers, Gerald and Bernard, will usher. A wedding breakfast at the home of the Gerald Monahans, 108Vi Susquehanna Street, is planned. A reception also is being planned for later in the day. It will be held at the Monahan home in Binghanrfton RD 2. PICNIC AUG.

23 Jaycees and Jayncees of Endicott will hold their joint picnic Aug. 23 at Prospect Park. The covered dish supper will start at 6:30 p. m. Gene Kinne is the Jaycee committee chairman with Mrs.

Radiating from the bouquet were streamers to which were fastened a weddingxslipper, a prayer book opened to the wedding service, a new penny, a lace handkerchief, a wedding ring and a blue garter. White tapers in silver candelabra lighted the setting. In the middle holder of the candelabra were miniature bridal bouquets. The honoree was presented a corsage of gardenias by Miss Huebner. Miss Riley is the daughter of Mrs.

W. H. Riley of 4 Zane Road. Her fiance is the son of D. J.

Keane of 1 Kress Street. MORE THAN 45 FRIENDS and relatives recently attended a silver wedding anniversary celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Bustin of 223 Harrison Street, Johnson City.

Festivities were held at the summer cottage of the couple in Lake Page, Pa. Hostessing the affair were Miss Doris Bustin of Ann Arbor, Pfc Kathleen Bustin of Fort Bragg, N. and Mrs. Donald Novak of Johnson City, all daughters of the honor guests. Omega Beta Phi Sorority will hold its annual formal Sept.

8 at the Post 82, Endicott American Legion Clubhouse in Riverside Drive. Dancing will be from 9 to 12 p. m. Women of the Vestal Hill's Country Club will hold a luncheon at 12:30 p. m.

WILLIAM MERRILL of Binghamton RD 6 is visiting her husband in Tacoma, where he is employed. She plans to stay there a month. Prior to her recent departure, Mrs. Merrill was feted at a farewell party in her home, hostessed by her daughter, Miss Beverly MerrilL More than 15 guests attended. They were served cake and other refreshments in a setting of yellow and pink.

Flowers added a festive note. bride, was flower girl. Paul Neville was best man for his brother. Ushers were Joseph Lynch and Raymond Murphy, both cousins of the bridegroom, and Joseph Riley, a brother of the bride. Joseph Tuttle, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

White marquisette was worn by the bride. Her illusion veil was held to a seed pearl crown. She held a colonial bouquet of white roses centered with a matching orchid. The maid of honor was in Nile green marquisette. The other attendants were in yellow, orchid and pink, respectively.

The flower girl was attired in Nile green. All held colonial bouquets. A wedding breakfast in the Bowen Country Home, Warren Center, was scheduled to follow the ceremony. A reception later in the day at the home of the bride's parents also has been scheduled. After a wedding trip through the New England States the newlyweds will live in Warren Center.

Bride-Elect Plans Sept. 2 Nuptials ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH will be the setting at 9 a. m. Sept.

2 for the wedding of Miss Mary Alice Fitzpatrick and Leonard Forster. Engagement of the couple has been announced by Miss Fitz-patrick's parents. Mr. and Mrs. John P.

Fitzpatrick of 63 Seminary Avenue. The bridegroom-elect 4s the eon of Mr. and Mrs. Frank For-ster of 101 Walnut Street. Miss Margaret Fitzpatrick will be maid of honor for her sister.

Bridesmaid will be Miss Ann Tierney. Best man will be John Hayes. The future bride's brother, James Fitzpatrick, will usher. A wedding breakfast in Law-son's Town House will be held after the exchange of nuptial vows. The future bride was graduated from St.

Patrick's Academy. She is with Sisson's. Her fiance attended St. Paul's High School. He served in the U.

S. Marine Corps for two and one-half years. Mr. Forster expects to leave Sept. 11 for the signal service of the U.

S. Army Reserve Corps. 3 I i 1 My Community Survey NAME ADDRESS THE flower-decked altar of SS. Cyril and Method Church was the setting this morning for the wedding of Miss Irene Marie Valky and Peter Frank Plestis. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Vito Valky of Binghamton RD 5. Mr. Plestis is the son of John Plestis of 220 Stella Road, and the late Mrs. Plestis.

A program of traditional wedding music was provided by Michael Harendza, organist. Miss Helen Patrick sang. The Rev. Cyril Orendac officiated at the 9 o'clock double-ring rites, before an altar trimmed with deep red picardy and white gladiolus. The bride was attired in a gown of white taffeta and nylon marquisette.

A braided headpiece caught her illusion veil. She held white roses. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Joseph Naby-waniec. Bridesmaids were Miss Josephine Tokos and Mrs.

Leon Newby. Rosemarie Valky, sister of the bride, was flower girl. The matron of honor was in yellow. She held a crescent-shaped bouquet of deep red gladiolus. Mrs.

Newby and Miss Tokos were in picardy and orchid, respectively, and the flower girl was in blue. Best man was Joseph Naby-waniec. John Gaworecki and Vincent Plestis, brother of the bridegroom, ushered. A dinner in Cyril's Hall was scheduled to take place after the ceremony. A reception at 6 o'clock in the hall also has been scheduled.

After a tour of the New England States and Canada, the newlyweds will reside in Binghamton RD 5. Loretta Smith Is Shower Guest A heaping basket of kitchen gifts was presented September bride-to-be, Miss Loretta E. Smith, at a shower last night at her home, 20 Montour Street. Mrs. Kenneth Lewis of 209 Yi Cleveland Avenue, Endicott, was hostess to the 14 guests attending.

Miss Smith will wed Charles L. Bordonaro at 1 p. m. Sept. 16 in the Conklin Avenue Baptist Church.

The future bride is the daughter of Mrs. Nellie M. Smith of the Montour Street address. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
