She was predeceased by her husband, John Zicari; her son, John P. Zicari; her daughter, Pasqualina (Pat) Nanni; and her grandson, Anthony Nanni. She is survived by two daughters and three sons-in-law, Catherine and Robert Testani, Endicott, Rose and Robert Joyce D.

Cadden of Endicott Joyce D. Cadden, 76, of Endicott, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2004. Mrs. Cadden was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Cadden.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Timothy and Judith McAvoy, William "Pat" and Lorraine McAvoy, Kevin and Mary Kay McAvoy, Michelle and Eric Christensen, Molly VanHouten, Maureen McAvoy, Matthew Antonio (Tony) Gomez of Endicott In loving memory of Antonio (-Tony) Gomez, who went to be with the Lord and his mother in heaven on Saturday, October 16, 2004, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He is survived by his loving fiancee, Karen Micalizzi; his father and stepmother, Raymond and Pat Gomez, his brothers. Rick and Ray Gomez; his half-brother. Little Ray Gomez; his sister, Christina; his friends, Tim and Cymphoni, Heather and Roger, Joe and Jen, Joe Brison and many more; his dearest friends he called his ba A James F. Burke Sr.

of Indwell James F. Burke 64, of Endwell, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Saturday, Oetober 16, 2004. Predeceased by his father, Edmund Burke; mother and stepfather, Anna and Jcasmont Mattia; and a brother, Joseph P. Burke. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Burke, Endwell; one son and daughter-in-law, James Jr.

and Kitnberly Burke, Douglassville, one granddaughter, Katie Burke; one brother and sister-in-law, Edmund and Theresa Burke, West Long Branch. N.J.; nieces and nephews. He was an electrical engineer at B.A.E. for 39 years. Memorial services will be at a later date.

Tomsey of Johnson City Joseph S. Tomsey, 88, of Johnson City, passed away Monday morning. October 18, 2004, at The Waters of Endicott. Fie was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Zemek) Tomsey; and his brother, Frank Tomsey. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Patricia Tomsey, Lake Hiawatha, N.J., John and Maria Tomsey, Endwell; one grandson, David Tomsey and his wife, Patricia, Atlanta, one grandaughter, Robyn Tomsey, Lincoln Park, N.J.; his great-grandson, John Robert Tomsey, Atlanta, two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Tomsey, Endicott, Marie Zemek, Binghamton; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a member of St. Cyril Methodius Church, Binghamton, V.F.W. Post 2332, Johnson City, and a retired Endicott Johnson employee. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of The Waters, Garden Park and the Hospice Program for the love and compassion that was shown to Joe during his stay with them. Kristen L. O'Neil of Vestal Kristen L. O'Neil, 23, of Vestal, passed away suddenly Friday, October 15, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Dr. Richard L.

O'Neil. She is survived by her parents, Richard "Rick" L. and Laura L. O'Neil, Vestal; one sister, Jessica L. O'Neil, Vestal; special friend.

Turner McManus, Cortland; grandmother, Edna Markham, four aunts, Anne "Nancy" O'Neil, Mary Pat (Dan) Connell, Linda (Bill) Scialabba, Janet Johnson, three uncles, Barry (Deanne) O'Neil, Brian O'Neil, Barry Markham, and fourteen cousins. Kristen graduated from Seton Catholic Central High School as a STAC All-star in baseball and soccer and SUNY Cortland. She was currently a graduate student at SUNY Cortland to become a Physical Education Teacher. She was a member of the Student Activities Board at Cortland during her schooling, a member of St. John The Evangelist Church, counselor and lifegaurd at Fresh Air Fund Camp, member of Sang Lee's Tae Kwon Do and SUNY T.K.D.

Club. She was very active in sports, loved kids and enjoyed being like a kid. Kristen will be sadly missed by all who knew her as well as those who will never meet her. She is gone but will never be forgotten. As a final loving Kristen's wishes were met and her hair will be donated to Locks of Love.

Funeral services will be held 9 a.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2004, from the Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main Street, Johnson City, N.Y., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the Barber Memorial Home, Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Donations may be directed through the family for a scholarship fund to be set up in Kristen's name at Seton Catholic Central. Eleanor Lillian Davy Dutcher 411912 10172004 On October 17, 2004, Eleanor Dutcher passed away peacefully at home after a long life. She was predeceased by her sons, Warren Wendell Fiske and Richard Fiske.

She is survived by her husband. Henry L. Dutcher; daughters Constance House and Joyce Benseley; sons, Davy, William and Daniel Dutcher; two special granddaughters, Renee Case and Tracy Coddington; and dozens of other grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Eleanor was an extraordinary woman, who was Scout den mother, volunteered to many charitable organizations, nominated Woman of the Year by the Hillcrest Community Association, and was a member of the Hillcrest Ogden Methodist Church for over 50 years. She is an accredited artist.

Harris of Barton, N.Y. Helen A. Harris, 90, a resident of the Tioga Nursing Facility, Waverly, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, William A. Harris; grandsons, Robert and Michael Harris; sisters, Marion, Kay and Margaret; brother, John Kraft; and niece, Sandra Jorgensen Harris.

Helen is survived by her sons, Wayne Harris of Barto; and James Harris of Laurel, grandchildren, James TS Scott, Melissa Lea Haygood, Jason William Harris; three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tenneson and Rebecca; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Funeral services for Helen will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at 12 noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main Nichols. Interment will follow in the Barton Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer G. Decker; one brother, Jake Fries. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and William Morgan, Vestal; her son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Judith Decker, Port Crane, N.Y.; three grandchildren and spouses, Heather and Craig Vining, Jennifer and Kevin Smith, and David Morgan; one great-grandson, Zachery Smith; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Cathy Fries, Harold and Rose Fries; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ber-nice and Frank Molewski, Jackie and Duane Norton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Westover United Methodist Church. She was the former owner of Sandal Florist, Johnson City, an active member of the Women of the Moose, the V.F.W.

Auxiliary, and a volunteer at the Johnson City Senior Citizens Center. Funeral services will be held at the J.F; Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main Street, Johnson City, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Reverend Herbert B. Bowen, pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.

passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004. She is survived by her devoted sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry French, Jack and Donna French, Joseph and Jeanie French, and Deborah French. Also surviving are her 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren. Marion was born on May 31, 1913 in Johnson City, a daughter of the late Alfred and Isabella (White) Nelson.

She was also predeceased by her first husband, Robert French; second husband. Earl Watkins; daughter, Judy Duran; son, Jim French; sister, Lillian; and three grandchildren. This feisty, witty and sometimes stubborn woman devoted her life to her family. Her love for them was partially reflected in the beautiful afghans she knitted and crocheted. In addition, Marion enjoyed playing bingo and cards, camping, puzzle books and country-western music.

Her family will receive their friends from p.m. on Wed. at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. A funeral service will follow there at 12 p.m. Rev.

James T. Willard, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Berkshire, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lanesboro Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Cancer Society, in loving memory of Marion R. Watkins.

Edwin A. Hall Jr. of Brackney, Pa. Edwin A. Hall 95, of Brackney, passed away on the morning of October 18, 2004, at Hart's personal Care Home in Montrose, Pa.

He was born in Binghamton, N.Y.,' in 1909 to the late Edwin A. Hall Sr. and Harriet (Babcock) Hall. He was the great-grandson of John Allen Collier, former Congressman from Binghamton, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Freida S.

Hall; his children, Marlyce Dodd, Edwin Hall HI, Charles Hall, David Hall, Marriet Bowser, George Richard Hall, and Eric Hall; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; three nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Helen Callard; brother, Charles B. Hall; and grandson, Edwin A. Hall IV. Edwin began his career in the Banking industry, and soon was elected to City Council from 1937 to 1939.

He was elected to the U.S. Congress and served from 1939 until 1953. He served as a U.S. Congressman longer than any other Broome County, New York resident in the history of our Republic. Then he worked for New York State in Albany for Assemblyman Richard H.

Knauf, next to Syracuse for the State School, and finally the U. S. Government in Syracuse for the Agricultural Department. After his retirement he served on the Silver Lake School Board and the Montrose Area School Board, built four homes, became a gen- tleman farmer, in Dairy and Beef cattle. He was a wonderful hus- band and father and will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services for Edwin will be at 1 1 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2004, at Christ Episcopal Church, Binghamton, N.Y., officiated by the Rev. John R. Martinichio, Rector of his church. Interment will be in the Quaker Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake Pa. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday at the Daniel K.

He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Helene Binder; and his sister, Diane Kenyon. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Doreen and Mark Layton, Vestal; two nephews, Matthew Layton, Vestal, and Charles Kenyon, Newark Valley. Lou is also survived by several special friends and good neighbors. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era and a retired employee of Frito-Lay, Inc.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bednarsky Funeral Home, 96 Glenwood Binghamton, with the Rev. John E. Mikalajunas officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Mullen; her son, Timothy Mullen; her son-in-law, John Whalen; her Richard and Anna O'Connor; sisters, Sally O'Connor and Helen Updike; brothers-in- law, Theodore Budd and Vincent Goodman. She is survived by her children, Patricia Whalen, Binghamton, Michael Mullen, Ontario, Canada, J. Kevin and Eileen Mullen, Potsdam, Colleen Matthews, Maureen and Louis Santoni, Mary and Gary DiPaolo. all of Binghamton; 21 grandchildren, Heather Jucha, Maureen Doorey, Daniel Whalen, Tara Rigby, Burnadette Mah Mullen, Timothy, Michael, Mary, Laura Molly Mullen, Libby and Brendan Mullen, Kate McKenna, Joe, Kelly and David Matthews, Katie Milliser, Sarah and Maggie Santoni.

Michael, Richard and John DiPaolo; four greatgrandchildren, James, Sean, Owen, Brooke; two sisters, Betty Budd and Margaret Goodman; brother, Jack and Jean O'Connor; brother-in-law, John Updike; her aunt and God-mother, Mary Leonard; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, for over 60 years, member of the Altar-Rosary Society. She retired from the Broome County Board of Elections after 27 years of service. She was also a member of Aunt Mobile, Macaroni Club, and Pinochle Club.

The family thanks the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home for their compassionate care and concern during Anne's Stay. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., and at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered.

Robert "Bob" Lusk of Binghamton Robert "Bob" Lusk, 76, passed away on Sunday afternoon, Octo- ber 17, 2004, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was prede- ceased by his first wife, Anna (Ganisin) Lusk in 1982; and a brother, William Lusk. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Sally" Seltzer Kinney Lusk, Binghamton; a stepson, Ray Kinney and his wife, Anne, Binghamton; his grandchildren, Alexa, Jeremy and Joshua Kinney; his sister, Lillian Maslowsky, Vestal; his brother, Frank Lusk and his wife, Carol, Binghamton; and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed hunting and camping at Indian Lake in the Adirondacks. He was a retired employee from various food and vending services in New York.

He was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Binghamton V.F.W. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9 a.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, and 9:30 a.m.

at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton, where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Protopresbyter, James Dutko. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Esther D. Camp of Owego Esther D. Camp, 86, entered her new life with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 16, 2004. She passed peacefully at Beverly Hospital, Beverly, Mass. Mrs.

Camp is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Russell R. and Norma Camp, So. Hamilton, and John P. and Diana Lamp, Cornwall Bridge, her grandchildren, Heather Burns, Colette Camp, Douglas Camp, Debra Fauci, Danielle Bowen; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Matthew Fauci; her brother, Lewis Swanson, Corning, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born on March 26, 1918 in Blossburg, she was a daughter of the late Gustave and Hannah (Johnson) Swanson.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pastor Russell R. Camp; and her siblings, Arthur Swanson, Lorraine Glick and Ann Hansen. Esther faithfully supported her nusDana in nis do year preachingpastoral ministry in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and throughout New York State. She taught Sunday school classes for children and adult women, and was active in daily vacation bible school summer programs. She was the founding president of the Ladies Advance of New York State, encouraged people with her joyful, caring attitude, and ministered effectively through her knowledge of scripture to those in need.

She loved playing hymns on the piano and enjoyed sharing home-baked cookies with her family and friends. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 22nd, 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, Whig Newark Valley. Pastor Mi chael Spiegel will officiate, assisted by Pastor Craig Golden. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, Pa.

The family will receive their friends Thursday, evening, October 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Newark Valley, and on Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church.
