Lesko formerly of Endwell Robert Otto Lesko, 93, of Cary, N.C., formerly of End-well, N.Y., died Friday, March 31, 2006. at Windsor Point of Fuquay-Varina, N.C. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Cecilia (Drotar) Lesko who died on February 13, 2006; his brother.

Rudy Lesko; and two sisters, Mary Schyndler and Hermina Lesko. He is survived by his children, Rita Donahue Grillo and her husband, Dominic, Easton, Robert D. Lesko and his wife, Marsha, Apex, N.C, Deborah Coleman and her husband, Stephen, Avon, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Doreen Donahue, Joseph Donahue, Shawn Donahue, Tricia Crissman, Russell Lesko, Nikki Perry, Steve Coleman, and Kelly Coleman; and five great-grandchildren. He was a former member of Christ the King Church, Endwell, a retired IBM Corp. employee, and a member of its Quarter Century Club.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Endicott, and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Lesko may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 7714 Chapel Hill Raleigh, N.C. 27607. Jane (Tennant) Hinkey of Endicott Jane (Gram) Hinkey, 89, of Endicott, passed away on Monday morning, April 3, 2006, at her home. She is survived by her son, Victor Tennant; and daughter-in-law, Cheri Hohn; three grandchildren, Steve Tennant and his wife, Jill, Lorraine Tennant, Philip Tennant; a granddaugther-in-law, Michelle Tennant, all of Endicott; four greatgrandchildren, Alex, Dinah, Lindsey and Brendan; her sister-in-law, Helen Cippola, Binghamton; also several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins and many dear friends.

Jane was a retired employee of Fairplay Caramel, with 42 years of service, and she was an avid supporter of the local theatre and women's hockey program. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 1 :00 p.m. at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home, Saturday from 1 1 :00 a.m.

Sochor, 86, of W. Colombia, S.C., formerly of David T. Meddleton of Portland, Oregon David T. Meddleton, 66, died peacefully at the Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, Oregon, on February 26, 2006, from colon cancer. David was born and raised in Johnson City, New York.

He graduated from Saint James Elementary School in 1953 and Johnson City High School in 1957, after which he attended Harpur College. In 1962, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served for two years in the field of communications. After leaving the Army in 1964, David remained in Alaska where he had been stationed and worked as a trucker. While living in Alaska, David enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hiking and fishing.

In 1974, he moved to Portland where he lived until his death. David was a quiet man who enjoyed his friends and his time reading and hiking. He was particularly interested in politics and American history. His father, Willet J. Meddleton; and his mother, Julia Curley Meddleton, preceded David in death.

He is survived by four brothers, Robert Meddleton, Cottonwood, Arizona, Philip Meddleton, Johnson City, New York, Dan Meddleton, Anchorage, Alaska. and Frank Meddleton, Tyler, Texas; as well as many nephews and nieces. Memorial Mass and interment will be June 9th at Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City, New York. Memorial contributions can be made in David T. Meddleton' name to the Hopewell Hospice House, Portland, Oregon.

Lorna M. Smith of Lisle Lorna M. Smith, of Lisle, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Ideal Nursing Center, Endicott, New York. She was predeceased by her parents, William H. and Cora Padbury; and her brother, William M.

Padbury. She is survived by her husband, Gerald O. Smith, Johnson City; her daughter, Cathryn and William G. Cummings; and her son, John W. Cronin and fiancee, Cathleen Gonciasz, all of Lisle.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard and Michelle Cummings, Fanwood, New Jersey, Rita and Mark Lawler. Pennelville, New York, William P. Cummings, Johnson City; two great-grandchildren, Liam Cummings and Emma Lawler. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point, New York, and was active in parish affairs.

She was very family oriented and loved to cook. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, at St. Patrick's Church at 11:00 a.m. where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The family will receive friends that day from 9:30 a.m.

to 10:30 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home, Whitney Point, New York. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Ideal Nursing Center for the excellent care they gave her during the three years she was with mem.

Sininger. 83, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel; two sister, Florence Prentice and Violet Kirby; brother, John F.A. Sininger. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Deborah Sininger; grandchildren, Annalea and Timothy, Greene; sister, Evelyne MacDonald, Bently, Alberta, Canada; several nieces and nephews including, Richard and Jeannie MacDonald, Victoria Island, B.C.

Charles was a veteran of Canadian Forces, 20th R.C.A.S.C. He participated in the D-day invasion. He was a life member of Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters Local 85. He was a retired grape grower for National Grape (Welch's). He operated a farm of 104 acres in Penn Yan.

A memorial service will be held 1 1 a.m., Saturday, at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Greene. Robert Russell of Church of Christ, Endwell will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Greene Emergency Squad, 8 N.

Stanek, 92, a lifetime resident of Binghamton, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Birchwood Health Care Center in Liverpool, N.Y. Predeceased by her husband, Fred in 1967, Anne was a longtime employee of the JC Penney Co.

She is survived by a son, Fred (Colleen) Stanek, California; a daughter, Diane (Paul) Finochio, Liverpool; five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Anne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who touched many people's lives with her wisdom, dignity, strength and grace. Services were held in Liverpool on Thursday, April 6. Burial will be at 1 1 :00 Friday at St. Cyril's Cemetery on Riverside Drive.

Demaree of Quaker Lake, Pa. Marion A. Demaree, 87, of Quaker Lake, died Wednesday morning, April 5, 2006. She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael A. Demaree.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward H. Demaree, Quaker Lake, two sons and daughtcrs-in-law, Charles E. and Nancy A. Demaree, Endwell, Kenneth J. and Mildred Demaree, State College, her grandchildren, Maria and Dan Hutchinson, Kenneth and Sandra Demaree, Christina and Brian Gibbons, Andrew and Julie Demaree; nine great-grandchildren; one niece.

Marion was a member of St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Pa, where she was a member and past president of the Altar-Rosary Society and a member and past president of the Silver Lake Ladies Club. Marion was a good homemaker and enjoyed cooking. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Saturday at 1 1 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Marion may be made to the Silver Lake Volunteer Emergency Squad, Brackney, Pa. 18812. Arrangements are by the J.A.

McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, N.Y. Mary Smith of Sidney, N.Y. Mary Smith, 82, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 3, 2006, at home. She was born October 30, 1923 in Swinford, Ireland, to the late Martin and Elizabeth (Brannigan) Rowley. Mary is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William Smith, Florida, Michael and Janette Smith, McGraw, Christopher and Paula Smith, Sidney; daughter, Roberta Smith, Troy; three sisters, Rita, London, England, Kathleen, Swinford, Ireland, Jane, Ennis, County, Claire, Ireland; two brothers, Raymond Rowley, Essex, England, Martin Rowley Killasser, Ireland; grandchildren, Shannan Smith and Steve Lewis, Michelle, Travis, Stacy, Candace, Meghan, Chad, Nathan and Zachary Smith and Joseph Favaloro; six greatgrandchildren.

N.Y., Jim and Judy Sochor, Littleton, six grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; ten brothers and sisters; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a former member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII, and the retired owneroperator of Sochor Hardware in Endicott, N.Y.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12:30 p.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, 1905 Watson Endicott, and at 1 :00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery.

(Liberatore) Fisher, 77, of Binghamton, died Sunday April 2, 2006, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1998; a daughter, Linda Miller, in 1999; a brother, Dominic Liberatore; and two sisters, Mary Hughes and Sylvia Daszewski. Midler Avenue, Syracuse, N.Y. 13206. Craig Alan Smith formerly of Endicott Craig Alan Smith, 56, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Friday, March 24, 2006. Craig was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Craig was born February 19, 1950 in Johnson City, New York.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles E. Smith in 1973 and his mother, Norma Bell Smith in 1995. Craig graduated from Union Endicott H.S. in 1968 and served in the Army Reserves. He was employed by IBM Endicott for 20 years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1992, where he was employed by Pruitts Fine Furniture.

He lived in Phoenix, but his heart remained in his neighborhood on Swartwood Avenue in Endicott. He is survived by his son, Jason Smith, Queens, N.Y.; his grandson, Christopher Smith, Endicott; his sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Richard Molatch, Syracuse; his niece, Stacy Molatch, Syracuse; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, special friends, Mary Jo and Mark Helms, Phoenix, Arizona.
