She is a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Shields graduated from Chenango Valley High School and the University of Scranton. He completed his master's degree and his doctorate at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a professor at the University of Richmond, Richmond, Va. A Jan. 11 wedding is planned.

JoEllen Willis Scott O'Connor Willis-O'Connor Jacqueline Willis of Owego announces the engagement of her daughter JoEllen Dawn, to Scott Robert O'Connor. Angela Fronda -Ryan Daly Fronda-Daly Anne Fronda of Binghamton announces the engagement of her daughter, Angela Elizabeth, to Ryan Patrick Daly.

Miss Fronda also is the daughter of the late Joseph Fronda. The future bridegroom is the son of Jerome and Linda Daly of Gainesville, Ga. Miss Fronda graduated from Seton Catholic Central High School, Broome Community College and State University College at Oneonta. She is a juvenile probationparole officer for the State of Georgia, Gwinnett County. Daly graduated from Union-Endicott High School, BCC and the University of Georgia.
