Frank Adams of Gardner Road, Vestal, became the bride of Richard Deubler, son of Mrs. Helen Deubler of Glenwood Road, Vestal, in Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. A double-ring ceremony was performed. Mr. Adams escorted his daughter to the altar.

The bridal party included: matron of honor, Mrs. Michael Najarian, sister of the bride; bridesmaids, Miss Connie and Miss Dee Ann Deubler, sisters of the bridegroom; best man, Lonnie Deubler, brother of the bridegroom; ushers, Michael Najarian and Kenneth Barber. Some 60 guests greeted the couple during a reception in the church hall after the ceremony. The newlyweds traveled to Bangor, Maine, for their honeymoon. Both Mr.

and Mrs. Deubler are graduates of Vestal Central High School. The bride was employed by Columbian Mutual Life Insurance Vestal, before her marriage. Mr. Deubler served in Vietnam and is now stationed at Fort Dix, N.

where the couple are living. l'elranek, Shust Vows Exchanged St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Melody Ann Petranek and Thomas John Shust. Msgr. Stephen Dutko performed a double-ring ceremony.

The new Mrs. Shust is the daughter of Mrs. Louis Pe-traneK of 401 Riverside Drive, Johnson City, and the late Mr. Petranek. Mr.

Shust is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Shust of 180 North Baldwin Street, Johnson City. Andrew Kucer gave his niece in marriage.

Mrs. Kucer was matron of honor and Miss Tina Rezmer-ski was bridesmaid for her cousin. Karie Kim Kovac, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Best man was Richard Shust, brother of the bridegroom. Louis Petranek, brother of the bride, ushered, and Robert Corbett, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A luncheon was served for the bridal party and immediate families in St. Michael's Recreation Center before a reception and dinner there for some 350 guests. The couple traveled to Canada for a week's wedding trip. Both Mr. and Mrs.

Shust are graduates of Johnson City. High School. The bride also is a graduate of Broome Technical Community College and is employed by Deyo, Turn-bull, Turner Normile law offices. Her husband was graduated from Manhattan School of Printing in New York City and is stationed with the U. S.

MRS. SHU ST Miss Kilmer, Officer Wed Miss Sandra Kay Kilmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kilmer, formerly of Vestal and now of Culpeper, became the bride of Lt. Charles Smith Abell during a ceremony in the Culpeper Methodist Church.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Abell of Rome, Pa. The Rev. Hugh J.

Winston, officiated at the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street-length dress of white brocade and satin and a head veil, accented with pearls and rhinestones. Miss Linda Deal of Culpeper 1vas maid of honor, wearing a pale pink satin dress and pink veil. Best man was Lt. Harvey Auger.

The couple will live at Fort Hood, Tex. MARKS 85TH YEAR Mrs. Lulu Bidwell of 15 Haynes Avenue, Johnson City, was honored on her 85th birthday by her daughters, Mrs. Norma Robinson of Carmel, and Mrs. Thomas F.

and Mrs. David Bauer of Norwich, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Carla Sue Hunt, to William Arthur Hess of New York City. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hess of Paradise Island, Fla.

Miss Hunt is a graduate of Norwich High School and is employed at General Electric in Syracuse. Mr. Hess is a graduate of Brooklyn High School and at-attended the Institute for Automation. He is employed by Texaco Oil. The couple plan an October 14 wedding.

School and State University College in Buffalo. Her husband is a graduate of Bemus Point High School and attended Jamestown Community College and SUC in Buffalo. He is serving with the Air Force. The couple are living in Goldsboro, N. C.

Dinner Honors Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Henry Palma-tier of 98 Academy Street, Johnson City, attended a dinner in their honor on Sunday in the Town and Country Restaurant. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Pal-matier, the couple's son and daughier-in-law, hosted the event, which marked the pie's 25th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Palmatier have three children and one grandchild. St.

Joseph's Lithuanian Church was the setting for the double ring ceremony and Nuptial Mass uniting in marriage Miss Linda A. Balchius and A-2C Lanny R. Carlson. The Rev. Justin Grabovsky performed the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Carlson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Balchius of 2610 Columbia Drive, Endwell.

Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Carlson of Jamestown. The bride wore her mother's wedding gown of Georgette satin with Venetian lace accenting the bodice. A cathedral train was attached at the back Empire waistline.

She carried a cascade of pink orchids and ivy. Miss Janice Vartuli was maid of honor. Toby Anderson was best man, and Roy Scott Balchius, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The bride is a graduate of Union-Endicott Central High MOELL MRS. DEUBLER Unmistakably COSMOPOLITAN CLUB Mrs.

Carl Moell performed a double ring ceremony and Nuptial Mass in St. Mary's of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Plattsburgh, uniting in marriage Miss Patricia Glasgow and his brother, Thomas L.

Moell, of Weeping Willow Trailer Park, End-well. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Glasgow of Plattsburgh.

Her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Moell of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Mrs. Joanne Daval, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Miss Sally Stevens and Miss Jane McGivney. Thomas Glasgow, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Joseph Moell, brother of the bridegroom, and Donald Moell, nephew of the bridegroom. After the ceremony some 60 guests greeted the newly-weds during a reception in Stonehelm before they left on a wedding trip to Virginia. The new Mrs.

Moell was graduated from State University College in Plattsburgh. Her husband was graduated from Broome Technical Community College, was employed as a consumer tests technician by IBM, and attends SUC in Albany.
