March 15, 1964 Koudounis Sisters Brides Spring Wedding Planned CALL A 22-5-22 ii In a double wedding at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, Miss Patricia Koudounis recently became the bride of Gregory Stama-takos and Miss Mary Koudounis became the bride of James Corinis. Rev. Philip Gialipsos and the Rev. Sotirios Lytras officiated at the 4 p.

m. nuptials. The brides are the daugh- ters of Mr. and Mrs. James Koudounis, 206 Baldwin Street, Johnson City.

The new Stamatakos was given in marriage by her godfather, Peter Panagos. She wore a white floor length gown of Rochelle lace over-taffeta fashioned with a fitted bodice, tapered sleeves, and portrait neckline. Her six-tiered bouffant skirt terminated in a chapel train. Mary Castaldo, of Me-chanicsville. Mr. Yaw is she son of Dr. and Mrs. ferry H.

Yaw of Potsdam. Miss Castaldo was graduated from Mechanicsville High School and a College. She did graduate work at State University College at Oneonta. She is a teacher in the Vestal School system! Mr. Yaw, a graduate of Potsdam Central High School, is a senior at Harpur College.

He is president of United Student Government at the school. Ushering guests was Michael Stamatakos, of Toronto, Canada, brother of the bridegroom. Mrs. Stamatakos is a graduate of Johnson City High School and the Triple Hties School of Beauty.

Mr. Stamatakos, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stamatakos, Mo-laous, Greece. He is formerly of Toronto, and is a graduate of the Chicago School of Welding.

The new Mrs. Corinis, given in marriage by tar father, wore a white floor loigtn gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta. It was fashioned wilh a portrait neckline, tape'ei sleeves, and a lane ranel front. Her tiered gown of ruffled lace terminated in a chapel train. Mrs.

Corinis' veil was identical to that of her sister. She wore a Swedish crown and carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids and stephanotis. Mrs. Dino Theodoropoulos, cousin of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Attired in a similar aqua ensemble was the bridesmaid, Mrs.

Nick Korinis. Miss Sandra Stathis was flower girl. Steve Vlahakis, uncle of bride, of Freeport, L. I wa3 best man. Ushering guests was Nick Korinis, brother of the bridegroom.

Kostas Tou-roulis, nephew of the bridegroom was ring bearer. 'Mr. Corinis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Korinis of Sparta, Greece.

Mrs. Corinis is a graduate of Johnson City High Schorl and Ridley Secretarial School. The couples greeted some 300 guests at a dinner reception at 6 p. m. in St.

After the ceremony, a reception was held in the Cat-atonk Community Hall, Miss Carol Emmick, Jay Dutton Engaged Jcavons, Soovajian Engagement The engagement of Miss Gloria Marie Jeavons to Richard Charles Soovajian is announced by the prospective bride's mother, Mrs. Fannie Jeavons, 45 Kirkwood Avenue. She is also the daughter of the late William David Jeavons.

Mr. Soovajian Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Soovajian, 460 Riverside Drive, Johnson City.

The bride-elect was graduated from Chenango Valley High School. Mr. Soovajian is a graduate of Johnson City High School where he was a member of Alpha Zeta Omega fraternity. He attended Broome Technical Community College and New York University, New York City. No wedding date has been set.
