THE BINGHAMTON PRESS, TUESDAY EVENING, MAY 20, 1924. 7 OWE6U WOMAN IS DECLARED INSANE Ethel Tripp, Who Shows Suicidal Mania, Is Committed to State Hospital Owego, May 20-Ethel Tripp, a young woman who had made her home in 1 a South Side family for many years, and was always ered "queer," developed a suicidal mania last week and took a dose of iodine. Dr. L. A.

Walker and Dr. E. E. Bauer examined her as to her mental condition Monday morning and upon their report she was committed to the Binghamton State hospital. Ray Sears, who was convicted of abandonment some time ago and had completed a four months' who term in jail, has paid a fine of $500 imposed in connection with the jail sentence and has been released.

Merle Harris of Binghamton, who drove the big Marmon touring car May 9, and while racing with the on Lackawanna's fast, train, 15, on "hooddoo" cutoff, went into the ditch and besides injuring himself caused fractured bones in the case of of his passengers, was arrested Saturday by Sergeant J. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother; two sons, Harry Richardson Owego and Rellie Dean of Owego.

The funeral was held this afternoon at the home of her son, Harry Richardson, 32 Temple street. Surrogate George F. Andrews admitted to probate the will of Sabrina Beck, late of Owego, and granted letters testamentary to Charles, win S. and Frank Beck, of Owego, yesterday. The value of the estate is not given.

Letters of administration on the estate of Lizize A. Dimmick, late of Newark Valley, were granted to her daughter, Ella A. Dabron. The value of the estate is given as $2,100. Letters of administration on the estate of Mary C.
