Miss Maynard Wed to Seaman Miss Celia Maynard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maynard Port Crane, was married June 13 at 3 p. m. to Second Class Seaman Robert C.

Lent, U.S. son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lent of Port Crane. The ceremony was performed in the Port Crane Methodist Church by the Rev.

F. N. Cooper. Wedding music was played by church was decorated with garden flowers and ferns. The couple was attended by Miss Edna Hallack as maid of honor, and Elmer Schraeder as best man.

The bride wore a blue and white suit with white accessories and a corsage of gardenias. The maid of honor wore a royal blue dress, red accessories and a corsage of red carnations. Mrs. Maynard, the bride's mother, wore a black dress with white accessories and a corsage of sweetpeas. Mrs.

Lent, mother of the bridegroom, wore an aqua dress with luggage tan accessories and a corsage of sweetpeas. Surprise Party In Vestal Home Mrs. Ina Hoppes and Mrs. Grace Hill were honored at a joint surprise birthday party yesterday in the home of the latter in 62 Main Street, Vestal. A covered dish luncheon held including a decorated birthday cake. Gifts were presented to the honor guests.
