Prescoft Perkins Sr. Was Rank Law Expert City Attorney's Estate Valued at $318,746 Prescott D. Perkins, Sr., a partner in the Binghamton law firm of Hinman, Howard & Kattell, left a gross estate of $318,746.28 when he died three years ago at the age of 67. Perkins, an expert in banking law, was a member of tha board of directors of several Triple Cities industrial and commercial firms and was counsel for the First-City National Bank. He also administered tha Trust Fund of. the Broome County United Fund and was a former president of the Sus quehanna Valley Home. Perkins left the bulk of his estate to his wife, Mrs. Esther B. Perkins, who died in November last year. They lived at 15 Campbell Road Court, Binghamton. He also bequeathed $5,000 each to his only son, Prescott D. Perkins Jr. of Knight Road, Vestal RD 2, and to his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sandra Perkins, according to papers filed in Broome County Surrogate Court. Mrs. Perkins, whose estate was estimated at between $ 1 0 0 , 0 0 0 and $250,000, left $5,000 to her daughter-in-law and the remainder to her son. The amount of federal and state taxes on the estate was not known. Perkins1 law firm handled the estate.
